Research technician (m/w)
Responsibilities
- Participate in and contribute to innovative research projects to develop vaccines for veterinary use.
- Planning and execution of experiments in collaboration with the project leader and other (international) team members.
- Research projects may involve different areas of expertise, e.g. virology, bacteriology, cell culture, molecular biology or cell biology.
- Setting up and development of new techniques and assays.
- Work and report research data in accordance with internal and GLP guidelines.
Requirements
- Bachelors (BSc) degree or higher (or equivalent) in (medical) biology, biochemistry or similar.
- Working experience in a research environment is an advantage.
- Experience in areas of expertise such as virology, tissue culture, cell biology or molecular biology.
- Ability to think analytically, problem-solving skills, drive to succeed.
- Ability to work independently, e.g. in the planning of experiments.
- Professional proficiency in English is a requirement.
- Experience with working according to GLP guidelines is an advantage.
